Self-identified "rockstar turned misfit turned rockstar", Play LA is a walking story of recovery and resilience. Born into a particularly artistic family, his love of music was born at a young age thanks to the constant tunes blasting around the house and the influence of his father, a former band member himself. After enduring a rocky battle with a heroine addiction and coming out on the other side, Play LA delved into his own artistry and has since released his first single and collaborated with notable Atlanta-based rap duo Amg Twinz (365sk). He looks to rappers who paved the way for trap music such as Juice Wrld, Lil Uzi Vert, and Chief Keef as influences. Burning Ground Entertainment's, Play LA has a powerhouse team behind him including former Warner Music General Manager Peter Strickland, recognized by Billboard as one of the "Top 50 Nashville Power Players". Strickland has worked with A-list celebrities like Sheryl Crow, Jimmy Fallon, and others to help them achieve stardom.
